After releasing one of 2021’s breakthrough records in Remember The Future?, Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice return with another burning question - Remember The Tour? After 2 static years in the 'world’s most liveable (most locked down) city' they’re stinging to charge up a highway into the sunset - radioactive as it may be.
Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice emerged from the Melbourne underground like a firecracker with their 2019 debut LP The West, followed by 2020’s fiery EPs, Scomo Goes to Hawaii and While Aus Burns. The new album, Remember the Future?, out on Marthouse (AUS) & Erste Theke Tontraeger (EU), is bursting with new-wave, post-punk anthems documenting the dystopian absurdity of our times, informed by Sure’s innate hopefulness and staunch belief in a better future.
“Off the wall dystopian robo-punk - a little bit absurd and a little bit surreal, but also a whole lot of fun” - WEIRDO WASTELAND
“One of the most important bands in Melbourne” - ROLLING STONE
“Dr Sure’s craft music that’s fresh and inspired: new wave-punk that isn’t being done” - BEAT
